Using one API call (ConsumerAdd) Join the Clicks will manage all the functions on this registration page:

Add the consumer to your database (if the do not exist)
Create a hash encrypted login/password
Add consumer to newsletter subscription (opt-in)
Update a custom field (Favorite Drink)
Send a personalized activation email (Double opt-in)
Records the user's interactions against their profile

The values for the Favorite Drink dropdown are maintained in the Web Console so they can be changed without altering the site's code.
